LMNT (element)
In classical Greek thought, the four elements, Earth, Water, Air, and Fire, were believed to be the basis of all matter. The Quintessence, a fifth element also called æther, was thought to be the essence of that beyond the material world. This idea was used to conceptualize both the physical world and that which could not be seen or otherwise explained.
From the idea of the five elements came the philosophy of Alchemy. Alchemic practitioners claimed to have the ability to access profound powers, to make elixirs of life, and create gold and other precious metals by combining simple elements.
The idea of taking contrasting ingredients to create something new, something bigger than just a sum of the parts, was the inspiration
of this album.
